WINDataNOW!, a WINData Inc. project, is a real-time meteorological (met) data solution built on the OSOsoft PI System historian software.  Designed to address the needs of operators and forecasters catering to the wind energy industry, WINDataNOW! offers high-fidelity 2-second data streamed from WINData’s central PI server in a continuous feed.  Wind plant operations leveraging this high-fidelity, timely data from sites that are upwind of existing wind farms will increase their efficiency, maximize their profits, and be better grid citizens.
 

Our Innovation

WINDataNOW brings a new standard of meteorological data integration to wind energy and utility companies.  By capturing higher fidelity data from multiple meteorological sites and then allowing subscribers to directly integrate that data into their existing operations, WINDataNOW helps companies leverage more of the infrastructure they already have in place.  By harnessing the power of OSIsoft’s PI System for communications and history, subscribers can do less work accessing meteorological data and focus on finding new ways to use this data to optimize their operations.

C-Gorge Project Online!

C-Gorge comprises three on-axis and two counter-axis met towers providing point data at the Wasco, Arlington, Goldendale and Bickleton sites.
